My bon vivant bestie would need her beauty sleep, so we’d start our day some time around noon. I’d grab a take out order from Barrel Thief with olives, cheeses, scallops and duck on my way to New Kent Winery. There we’d sample their wines, grab a bottle (most likely their Vidal Blanc sine it’s SO perfect), and enjoy our food and wine on the deck. I’ll take her back to the city and we’ll have a delectable dinner (and more wine) at Lemaire.
