1 Day in RVA - Official Contest Rules

  • Contest open to Virginia residents, 18 and older.
  • Contest begins at noon February 1st, 2010 and will end at midnight March 1st, 2010. The contest winner will be announced shortly thereafter.
  • Contestants may enter by posting recommendations for Richmond Region destinations on the Question of the Month page of RichmondInsideOut.com. Contestants may post as many different entries as they wish. No purchase necessary.
  • One winner will be determined by the number of public votes the entry receives, subject to RMCVB approval.
  • Winner will receive travel accommodations for 1 out-of-town guest (from within a 3-hour driving distance) for 1 day, 1 night. Travel accommodations include: $50 gas card, one night in a hotel as chosen by RMCVB, and 2 meals for 2.
  • Winner must choose a date within the month of March, subject to approval of RMCVB.
  • Winner and guest will spend "1 Day in RVA" exploring popular Richmond destinations as recommended by RichmondInsideOut.com contest participants, to be determined by RMCVB.
  • RMCVB will cover certain expenses on the day-long excursion including admissions, transportation and 2 meals for 2. RMCVB will not be responsible for items purchased by winner and guest, such as souvenirs.
